How Morale Works

M

The Power Difference

At the start of every battle, the game compares your total morale against the enemy's morale.

  • Higher morale: gain attack bonus.
  • Max bonus cap: 300 percent damage.
  • Lower morale: take more damage.

How It Is Calculated

Your total morale is not static. It scales directly with the size of the army you bring into the fight.

Base Troop Morale x Total March Size

This is why losing soldiers during a fight reduces your damage output in real time.

How to Boost Morale

Troop Tier

T11 troops have significantly higher base morale than T10. Prioritize Brilliance Institute research.

March Size

Upgrade Hero Levels, Faction Statues, and Research. More bodies means a higher total score.

Skins & Decor

Concerto Castle and the Drummer troop skin provide direct morale percentage bonuses.

VIP & Titles

VIP 12 gives a permanent march size boost, and king titles can temporarily increase size even more.

The No Soldier Rally

Want event points without risking your army? This can work for auto-rallies or very weak bosses.

  1. Open the Hero Selection screen before a rally.
  2. Manually remove all soldiers by setting the count to 0.
  3. Deploy only your heroes.
  4. Result: you get rewards and your heroes still fight, but you take zero casualties.
