Hero Strategy Guide

Use this page as the big-picture layer on top of the hero database. It focuses on faction identity, long-term upgrade discipline, and the roster mistakes that cost the most progress.

Who This Is For
Best for players trying to decide which faction to commit to, where to spend shards, and how to avoid wasting rare hero resources.

Faction Meta Shard Planning Roster Efficiency

Quick Take

Commit to One Core Faction

A focused faction roster scales faster than a scattered collection of half-built heroes.

Protect Rare Shards

Universal legendary and mythic resources should be saved for long-term carries, not short-term comfort picks.

Meat Is a Trap Resource

Hero meat disappears fast, so your best move is usually narrowing your core team instead of spreading levels around.

Core Hero Strategy

Focus on One Faction

Don't spread resources thin. Pick one main faction (League, Horde, or Nature) to build a cohesive team quickly.

Soldiers are Mandatory

Never fight without max soldiers. They account for a huge portion of your actual combat power.

Save Universal Shards

Never use universal legendary shards on Legendary heroes. Save them exclusively for Mythic heroes.

Manage Your Meat

Meat is a bottleneck. Do not level Blue/Purple heroes past 120. Focus all meat on your main queue.

Faction Meta Guides

The game runs on a Rock-Paper-Scissors system: Nature beats Horde, Horde beats League, and League beats Nature.

Nature Faction

Master of sustain and summons. Excellent for PvP defense.

Meta Lineup

Front: Altar Marshal, Monk
Middle: Petalis, Tidecaller
Back: Pixie, Forest Maiden

Key Notes

  • Tidecaller is arguably the best hero in the game (Tank/Heal/DPS).
  • Exclusive Gear: Prioritize Tidecaller and Altar Marshal to +10.
  • Awakening: Pixie (2+1) > Forest Maiden (2+1) > Sage.

Horde Faction

Raw damage output. The absolute kings of PvE and Boss damage.

Meta Lineup

Front: Beastmaster, Desert Prince
Middle: Wanderer, (Barbarian/Soulmancer)
Back: Storm Maiden, Witch

Key Notes

  • Wanderer is the essential DPS carry.
  • Cheapest Faction: Requires fewer awakened Legendaries to function.
  • Awakening: Soulmancer or Barbarian (4+1), then Warlock.

League Faction

Heavy skill damage. Expensive to build but counters Nature effectively.

Meta Lineup

Front: Adjudicator, Rose Princess
Middle: Nun, (Bard/Bishop)
Back: Artificer, Paragon

Key Notes

  • Expensive: Requires up to 27 Soul Stones for a full lineup.
  • Paragon is the main damage carry.
  • Awakening: Pyro (2+1) -> Adjudicator (Max) -> Nun (2+1).

Epic Hero Passive Traits

Once Epic Heroes reach 2-Star Platinum, they unlock a global passive trait (Skill 3). Prioritize maxing these out!

Hero Passive Bonus (Max Lv 30) Priority
Brawler +30% Tech Research Speed HIGHEST
Knight +30% Training Speed HIGHEST
Ranger +30% Ruby Gathering Speed HIGH
Minister +30% Soldier Healing Speed MEDIUM
Outlaw +30% Wood Gathering Speed LOW
