New Player Master Guide
The 10-step roadmap to domination. Don't just play; play efficiently.
The Early Game Rush
1. Level Your Castle (Smartly)
Castle level gates most progression. Prioritize upgrades here while keeping builders busy on prerequisites. Let timers run while you play events.
2. Adventure Mode Strategy
Clear enemies, open chests, and rescue villagers for early tickets. You get 160 free stamina daily—never let it cap out.
3. Keep Queues Rolling 24/7
Never let your Barracks sit idle. Advance your Barracks to unlock T3, T4, and T5 troops. Your army size scales your power just as much as your heroes.
4. Join a Guild Immediately
Guild "Help" clicks speed up builds significantly. Guilds also unlock bosses, shop perks, and protection.
Economy & Automation
Set your heroes to Auto-Join Rallies (Guild > War). This earns you rewards passively while offline. Always keep Expeditions running to auto-farm resources.
Save Diamonds for event shops and high-value milestones. Avoid impulse speed-ups. The best returns come from patiently saving for VIP points and Wheel Events.
Save Ore and convert it into Gold Bars to craft Golden Gear ASAP. Upgrade a single hero's gear to Level 10 first to unlock the Set Bonus before moving to the next hero.
Combat Power & Infrastructure
8. Build a Synergistic Team
Start with a mixed team, but switch to a main faction (Horde, Nature, League) ASAP. Resources are scarce; don't spread them thin.
- Frontline: Always have at least 2 Tanks to protect your DPS.
- Support: Don't underestimate support heroes. Nun is a great example who works in almost any team.
- Focus: Push your main Mythic heroes to key levels to unlock powerful skills first.
9. Building & Research Priorities
Building Priority (Early Game)
- Castle: Gates everything. Always push this.
- Research Cottage: Keep this close to Castle level.
- Training/Barracks: Upgrade regularly so troop strength doesn't lag.
- Hospital: Crucial for PvP/Events so wounded don't die at cap.
- Medal Hall: Huge stat building; boosts all soldiers' HP.
- Rally Hall: Upgrade to unlock more rally slots.
Research Priority (Early Game)
- Queue / March Size: Speeds up everything (events, farming).
- Growth / Economy: Construction & Research Speed (Compounding benefits).
- Arms Race Prep: Boosts rewards in the Guild Arms Race.
- Faction Specific: Once you pick a main faction, lean into that tree.
