The Ultimate Guide to Pets
This guide is focused on the pet system which will be available once your server starts Season 1. We'll help you understand pet buffs, choosing the right pet for your hero lineup and maximize your team's power.
1. Understanding Pet Buffs: Promotion vs. Skill
Pets offer two types of benefits, but the passive promotion bonus is by far the most impactful.
Passive Promotion Bonus (Most Important!)
This provides a permanent, account-wide increase to your heroes' Attack and HP. This bonus is ALWAYS ACTIVE, even if the pet is not equipped.
Active Skills
These are used in battle by an equipped pet. They are useful but are secondary to the massive passive buffs from promotion.
Key Insight: Faction-Specific Buffs are 3x Stronger
Pets provide either a universal buff to all heroes or a more potent, faction-specific buff. Faction bonuses are about three times stronger, making them the top priority for your main hero queue.
2. A Complete List of Pets
Buff Type | Pet Name | Faction | How to Get |
---|---|---|---|
Faction-Specific | Cactini | 🟩 Nature | 🐣 From Eggs |
Faction-Specific | Eggy | 🟦 League | 🐣 From Eggs |
Faction-Specific | Flickerkit | 🟥 Horde | 💰 Pack-Only* |
All-Hero | Spoutfang (Snake) | 🟩 Nature | 💰 Pack-Only |
All-Hero | Cubbly (Bear) | 🟩 Nature | 🐣 From Eggs |
All-Hero | Snowpal | 🟩 Nature | 💰 Pack-Only |
All-Hero | Zappy (Sparrow) | 🟦 League | 🐣 From Eggs |

*Note: Flickerkit can sometimes be obtained through special events.
3. Pet Leveling, Promotion, and Strategic Progression
Pet food is a limited resource. A well-planned progression is crucial for maximizing your power.
First Pet: Your Main Faction
Your absolute first priority is to level up the faction-specific buff pet that matches your strongest hero queue (Q1). This gives the largest and most immediate power boost.
Second Pet: All-Hero Buff for Q2
Next, focus on an all-hero buff pet that matches the faction of your second strongest queue (Q2). This provides a permanent bonus to all heroes while its active skills support your Q2 lineup.
Subsequent Pets: Broaden Your Buffs
Once your first two pets are well-progressed, you can begin leveling other all-hero buff pets to provide broad, incremental boosts to all of your teams.
4. Special Considerations for F2P Players
Free-to-Play players have a more limited selection. Knowing which pets are unobtainable is crucial for an efficient strategy.
Unobtainable for F2P
- Snowpal
- Spoutfang
Special Availability
Flickerkit, while generally a pack-only pet, is occasionally available through special events. F2P players who main the Horde faction should save resources for these events.
